ENTRY-LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING

New regulations set by the FMCSA now require entry-level drivers who obtained their CLP (commercial license permit) on or after February 7, 2022, to successfully complete "Entry Level Driver Training" (ELDT) before being permitted to take their (commercial driver’s license) CDL skills tests.

This training must be provided by a school or entity listed on the FMCSA

Training Provider Registry.

FMCSA ELDT Requirements

Theory

FMCSA requires theory training with a registered training provider. Theory and behind-the-wheel training must be successfully completed before you can take your CDL Skills Test.

We provide this portion of the ELDT online.

Behind-The-Wheel

In addition to the theory training, FMCSA also requires behind-the-wheel instruction with a registered training provider before you can take your CDL Skills Test.

We provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel training.
